Lal Mooli ki chutney / Red Radish chutney
















Servings: 3-4

Ingredients:


Content

Red radish
2 small
Peeled and diced
Onion
1 small +1 small
Sliced + chopped
Oil
1 tbsp + 1 tbsp

Jeera
1 tsp

Coconut
½ cup
Dessicated
Tamarind
½ lemon size

Sugar
To taste

Salt
¼ tsp

Water
To grind and cook

Dried red chillies
1-2 broken


Method:




Cook radish with sliced onion, water and a pinch of salt. Heat a tbsp of oil in a small pan. Roast red chillies and tamarind together and remove it to the grinder. Grind cooked radish-onion mixture with roasted chillies and tamarind, salt and sugar. Add water if required to bring it to a smooth paste. Temper with jeera and mix with chopped onions.











Serve with rice, roti, chapati….
