2-3 tbsp

Jeera
1 tsp

Urad dal
1 tsp

Mustard
1 tsp

Curry leaves
1 sprig

Turmeric
¼ tsp

Coriander leaves
2-3 tbsp

Jeera powder
2 tbsp

Coriander powder
2 tbsp

Kitchen king masala
1-2 tbsp

Chilli powder
1 tsp
More if you want more spice
Sugar
¼ tsp

Salt
To taste

Cooked rice
1-2 cups


Method:

Heat oil in a pan. Add urad dal, mustard. Once it starts spluttering, add jeera and curry leaves. Add the onions and saute till translucent. Add the tomatoes, salt to taste, turmeric, sugar and cook covered till tomatoes are soft. Add the jeera powder, coriander powder, kitchen king masala and mix well. Cover and cook till the raw smell is gone. Add the cooked rice and mix well. Garnish with coriander leaves. 


                



Serve hot with raita, curd...
