Pineapple Rasam

Ingredients:

Pineapple
1 medium size
Peeled and cubed
Water
As required

Salt
To taste

Oil
2 tbsp

Jeera
1 tsp

Saunf
1 tsp

Curry leaves
1 sprig

Dried red chillies
3-4
Broken
Coriander leaves
2-3 tbsp

Jeera powder
1 tsp

Amchoor powder / Dry mango powder
1 tsp
Optional

Method:

Puree the cubed pineapple pieces and strain well. Add water as required, ensuring the flavour of pineapple is intact.





Heat a pan. Add oil, jeera, sanuf, mustard, curry leaves, broken chillies. Saute once. Add the pineapple juice, salt, jeera powder, amchoor powder, coriander leaves and mix well. Bring it to boil and simmer for a minute.





Serve hot with rice or as drink.
