Method:
Wash and soak rice in a bowl for 4 hours.
Add the desiccated coconut and a bit of water and grind it coarsely.
Add the soaked rice, salt and grind it to a smooth paste.
Add enough water to a thin consistency. It should be thinner than normal dosa batter. Set it aside for 30 mins.
Heat a tawa and pour a ladle of batter and spread evenly.
Cook covered for a minute.
Flip the dosa and cook for a minute more.
Serve hot with coconut chutney, green chilly chutney.
Note:
This dosa does not require any oil.
