Tomato garlic sauce

Ingredients:

Tomatoes
2 medium
Chopped
Onion
1 small
Chopped
Garlic
7-8 cloves
Crushed
Salt
To taste

Dried red chilies
2 broken

Basil leaves
2-3 tbsp
Chopped
Water
For grinding

Sugar
½ tsp

Olive oil
1 tbsp
















Method:

Heat oil in a pan. Add garlic, dried red chilies and saute till garlic starts changing color. Add onion, saute till translucent. Add tomatoes and saute. Add basil leaves, salt and mix well. Cook covered till tomatoes are soft. Add sugar and mix once. Turn off the flame.

                   

                   

Remove it to the blender jar and set aside to cool. Once cooled, grind it with water to sauce consistency. Don't add too much water. Let the sauce be a bit thick.

                   

Serve with fried rice, noodles or use it as a dip with french fries or any other fried items.
